Election Starts this Saturday, and we need your help!

Greetings to you from the Michael Moses Campaign in Cariboo-Chilcotin!

We are just over a month from the election. The writ drops this Saturday, which means we can put out our signs!

Two of the most important days of the election will be this Saturday and Sunday, September 21st and 22nd.

We need your help more than ever on those days.

What’s in today’s letter:

  • Can you help us out on this critical weekend?

  • Other ways you can help us win this election.

Writ drops on this Saturday!

We have big plans for this weekend. These are two of the most important days of the election, as many members of the public will find out the election is a month away.

We need your help with these plans!

We’re doing a Sign Blitz on Saturday, which means we will put together the wooden frames for our signs and start getting them out on the highways. Are you handy with a hammer? Do you have a truck? We need you!

Williams Lake: We’ll gather at our Williams Lake office space, 96 3rd Ave North (right next to Karamia’s Donairs), at 10 a.m. Saturday morning. If you can help us out or want to drop off some snacks or drinks, we’ll be so excited to see you.

We’ll be repeating this on Sunday.

Our Campaign Headquarters in Williams Lake!

We’re also doing a Canvass Blitz on Saturday and Sunday! If you are willing to door knock or even accompany a door knocker and take notes for them, those are the days to come out! We also need people to make phone calls to find our supporters, donations, and places to put our signs. We’ll be going from 10 a.m. until Dusk on Saturday and Sunday, so any hour or two you can help out would be huge.

100 Mile House: We’re also doing a Sign Blitz in 100 Mile House on Saturday at 10 am! Our 100 Mile campaign headquarters is at Marmot Ridge, 200 Exeter Rd.

If you can make time to volunteer, you can sign up online or just show up in person:

Other ways to help us win this election:

You can help us win this election in other ways if you can’t make it to our Sign Blitz or Canvass Blitz this Saturday and Sunday.

And here is how:

  • Donate, donate, donate. Look at your own budget and decide when you can maximize your allowable amount of $1450.82 for 2024. We have less than 5 weeks to go before the election.

  • Invite Michael to a coffee party or potluck at your home and encourage your neighbours to meet him.

  • Offer to staff the campaign office one day a week.

  • Monitor the signs and be ready to repair weather and other damage throughout the campaign.

  • Learn how to access lawn sign requests and deliver signs to those homes throughout the campaign.

  • Once the campaign office has its grand opening, help coordinate one-pot suppers and other goodies for the canvassers.

  • Please clear your calendar for the week before October 19, especially that day, to help us with advance polling and election-day tasks.

Sign up for any of these here: Cariboo-Chilcotin - BC NDP Volunteers

There’s much more to do, and you can count on Michael Moses and David Eby to fight for what matters to people.

Let’s elect Michael into a government that is on your side!

I hope to meet you all at our Sign Blitz and Canvass Blitz this weekend!

This is an exciting and hopeful time for all of us.
